Every day you visit adds one to your streak, and each tier replaces the one below it. Miss a day and the count starts again, but nothing you already submitted is ever taken back.

5 day streak: you can cast 4 upvotes a day

Pro reaches the same ×2 upvote a long streak earns and never goes past it, so paying cannot outvote showing up. Articles and link posts are membership perks: they stay publicly visible while your membership is active, and if it lapses nothing is deleted, and only you can see them until you're back. And Pro never changes how your links are followed: that stays earned by the product, not bought by the account.

Does paying change how you rank?

Launch days are ranked by upvotes and nothing else, and money never buys a position on one. What Awesome Indie Pro does change is what your own upvote is worth, to the same ×2 the top of the streak ladder earns and no further, so paying reaches that rung, never past it, and never touches where your own product sits on a day.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

Nothing you published goes away. Every limit here is a ceiling on future actions only, so you simply go back to submitting at your streak's pace.

Can I get Pro for free?

Most of it, yes. A login streak raises what you can submit, how many upvotes you get a day, and what each one is worth, up to the same ×2 Pro reaches. The verified badge, the website link and per-product analytics stay Pro-only, and publishing articles is on neither side: it is bought a piece at a time, and costs a member exactly what it costs anybody else. Does paying skip the review?

No. A paid product is escalated to a human rather than refused automatically. If we do turn it down, you get your money back.

Who handles the payment?

Polar is our merchant of record, so payment, invoice and tax are all theirs. Yours live in billing settings.

Can I get a refund?

Before your product launches, yes. Email [email protected] and the date is released. Pro and sponsorships stop at the end of the period you paid for.
