These features include smart recommendations, content summaries, and personalized suggestions, but they’re entirely opt-in. You can use the app’s full tracking functionality without ever touching the AI tools.

Cinematique integrates seamlessly with The Movie Database (TMDB) to pull in high-quality media data, including posters, metadata, and ratings. It also includes full two-way syncing with Trakt.tv, allowing users to keep their watchlists, collections, viewing history, and ratings synced across platforms. Whether you log something in cinematique or on another Trakt-connected app, your data will stay consistent.

A newly redesigned profile and sync control panel gives you easy access to manage connections, initiate manual syncs, or switch between different data sources. For Android users, a WebView-based wrapper is available as an APK via GitHub. It gives cinematique a native-like feel without requiring access to the Play Store. Native Android features like push notifications aren’t supported yet, but the app is fully usable and installable directly from the browser.
