Hi Folks! Please help me decide a new tagline for @SimpleURLTech (branded links, QR codes & bio pages). Which one sticks with you? What we do: branded short links, QR codes and bio pages. Your name on every link instead of bitly, so people trust it, click it, and you can see which clicks become customers. If you saw this on our homepage, which one would make you want to try it? A) Get branded. Get trusted. Get clicked. B) The shortest path from click to customer. C) Own every click. D) Brand. Click. Convert. Plot twist: we might use two together š "Get branded. Get trusted. Get clicked." "The shortest path from click to customer." Does the pair work, or is it too much?. Vote below š and (Optionally) if you could please tell me why. Any new suggestions are welcome.
We all know the friction: a friend shares a Spotify link in WhatsApp, but you use Apple Music, YouTube Music, or Tidal. You either manually search for the track or ignore it. I built SongFlip to make this completely effortless: ā¢ 0-click background redirects on Android ā¢ 1-tap via Share Sheet on iOS ā¢ Supports 10+ streaming services ā¢ 100% open-source (GPLv3), private, and no account needed Launching next Monday here on Awesome Indie! Check it out and let me know your thoughts: https://awesomeindie.com/product/song-flip
Batch consistency is the part nobody warns you about. One photo with a clean white background looks fine; ten photos where nine are #FFFFFF and one is #F7F7F7 look broken on a grid. Three things that fixed this for me: Pick one target value and check it, not "white". #FFFFFF is 255/255/255. Sample five points with the eyedropper - corners, centre, both edges. If the edges read 250-252 you have a soft falloff, not a flat fill. Normalise the export, not the source. Resize and compress last, and use one setting for the whole set. A JPEG at q85 can drift flat white to 253 while an adjacent PNG stays 255, and the seam shows in a carousel. Watch shadows. A soft grey drop shadow under the product is correct; a grey cast across the whole frame is not. Keep the shadow under the object and the rest at target. Full disclosure: CleanWhiteBG is my product (https://cleanwhitebg.com) - free, no signup, white-background replacement. Weigh the tip accordingly.
