We're excited to share the Beta launch of BlinkDisk, a new desktop backup app designed for everyone, whether you're a techie or just someone who wants a simple way to keep their files safe.
We built BlinkDisk because we felt most backup tools were either too clunky, too technical, or too locked-in. Here’s what makes BlinkDisk different:
- Modern & Minimalistic: BlinkDisk sports a clean, distraction-free interface. Just open it and back up – no clutter, no confusion.
- User-Friendly: You don’t need to be tech-savvy. It’s designed to "just work" for anyone.
- Fair Source: BlinkDisk is built in the open, giving you full transparency and control.
- End-to-End Encrypted: Your files are encrypted before they leave your machine. No compromises.
- Managed Cloud Available: Want a fully managed experience? BlinkDisk Cloud gets you up and running instantly.
- Self-Hostable: Prefer control? Bring your own cloud credentials (S3, etc.) and host your backups on your own terms.
- Cross-Platform: BlinkDisk works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
We're officially in Beta, and we'd love for you to try it out and share your thoughts!
