Connect with travelers & plan adventures
Trespot is a first-of-its-kind social travel platform that connects real travelers through city-based chatrooms, powered by ticket verification and travel dates. Unlike typical travel forums, social networks, or generic messaging apps, Trespot ensures that only verified travelers can join a city's group, and only during the time they are actually visiting.
To gain access, users must upload a valid trip ticket (flight, train, or bus) and select their travel dates. Once verified, they are added to the destination's chatroom where they can interact with others who are in the same city at the same time. This ensures that all conversations are real-time, relevant, and between people who are genuinely traveling. Once their trip ends, users are automatically removed from the group—keeping the community dynamic, active, and free from spam or outdated chatter.
This time- and location-sensitive approach is what makes Trespot truly different. Other platforms like Couchsurfing, Reddit, or Facebook Groups either allow open access to anyone or lack any travel-specific structure. Trespot is the only platform that brings together trusted, real-world social interaction based entirely on verified travel plans.
Beyond chat, the app includes a live activity feed where users can share photos, local tips, updates, and discoveries from their trip. Upcoming features include honor-based profiles (where travelers earn credibility points), local event and concert discovery, and even travel-based dating for those seeking meaningful connections on the road.
